Monthly evening clinic

The Infectious Disease Clinic at Truman Medical Center Hospital Hill,, provides a comprehensive program for individuals infected and affected by HIV. Our goal is to make a positive difference, every day, in the lives of our patients. We meet the health and educational needs of HIV + patients with an array of outpatient and inpatient services including:

· A multidisciplinary approach to care that incorporates HIV education (including self-education) medication adherence, nutritional therapy, clinical pharmacology and other subspecialties.

· Case management including financial counseling, housing assistance and access to community resources

· HIV Women's Clinic and support group to address the needs of HIV infected women

· Outpatient and home-based IV therapy

· Inpatient infectious disease/oncology unit providing acute care for individuals requiring hospitalization

· Onsite lab services, radiology, physical and occupational therapy

· HIV testing, pretest and post-test counseling

Doctors who are board certified in infectious disease and internal medicine provide primary care. Nurse and Social Work staff are experienced in HIV care as well. What's more, TMC's academic setting offers individuals access to the latest advances and clinical trials.
